Hey guys! I'm back! Picking up where I left off with Lithuania's entry to Eurovision 2018! Here's my reaction to Ieva Zasimauskaitė singing 'When We're Old'. I think she has a charming voice which is very emotive and easy to listen to. Not sure if the song is strong enough to get to the final but it was enjoyable nonetheless! What did you think of Lithuania's song? #Reaction #Reviews #Eurovision #Lithuania #IevaZasimauskaitė #WhenWereOld #EurovisionSongContest Tuneful TV is a music and entertainment channel from Natalia Anderson. the 6th day after coming back to Lithuania after 9 years of not being here. I am still in a state of constant surprise and many emotions and feelings happening inside of me. I was really happy to visit my grandma in the village, to find her still alive. However, there were many mixed feelings I would feel in the village. And when she turned (I was alone with my grandmother) the TV and I watched it for some minutes I was so shocked and saddened and ashamed of all that bullshit being Lithuanian bullshit that I simply left the house and went to the forest. This is when I shot this video and you can see that I am moved and emotional when I speak.

An unlikely theme park has become one of Lithuania's top tourist attractions... it's been nicknamed Stalin World and documents the darkest days of the Russian occupation. It was a period that saw hundreds of thousands shipped off to the notorious Gulag work camps in Siberia... many never to return. The owner of Grūtas Park says it's a reminder to future generations of what happened, and a lesson not to allow history to repeat itself. But as Video journalist Nick Lazaredes reports, Gulag survivors are appalled at the commercialisation, and it's reignited a debate over how, if at all, the Soviet era in Lithuania should be remembered. Broadcast on "DATELINE" , SBS Television Australia on 26th September, 2010.

The question of language quotas is a trending topic in Ukraine today. On May 23, Ukraine's parliament endorsed a draft law on the introduction of a 75% Ukrainian language quota for state television. The law would obligate television broadcasters nationwide to air a minimum of 75% of its programming in Ukrainian between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. Lithuania had dealt with a similar issue of establishing the titular language status of Lithuanian following its independence in 1991. In Lithuania, language quotas does not exist. However, policies exist governing language in all audio-visual media which requires all foreign language media to be either subtitled or dubbed. Commissioner Daiva Vaišnienė states that while “they are expensive,..we are talking about values and about status.” It is importan...
